6th - 12th grade students
Awaken Student Ministries is a movement out of First Assembly of God, that is committed to shaking up San Antonio to see a spiritual awakening in this generation.
Our students are equipped with practical tools from Biblical teachings and the power of the Holy Spirit to live a purposeful life for the Glory of God.
The youth are engaged in Gospel culture through high-energy weekly gatherings on Wednesdays at 6:30pm. Through worship, small-groups, sermons, outings, camp, fundraisers, and fine arts, the youth are empowered by action and serving with the love of Jesus.
Awaken strives to provide a safe place for teens to discover their strengths and create opportunities for them to serve their church and community.
Alongside our church family, Awaken exists to connect our youth to the life, family, and purpose of God!
Young Adults
Ages 18-35
Here at First, Awaken Young Adults love doing life together! We realize in this crucial time of life, young adults are looking for friendship, relationship, and someone or something to put their hope in. We believe Jesus offers just that!
With Bible studies, monthly hangouts, serving our church, and fellowship gatherings (usually around good food!), we encourage each other through life and pursue God together!
